On August 19, 2026, IRCC issued 5,000 invitations to apply for permanent residence in a French-language proficiency Express Entry draw.
The CRS cutoff fell to 382 — a nine-point drop from August 6 and the lowest French-language cutoff of 2026. The round completed the second August draw cluster after earlier PNP and CEC rounds.
